I think he'll sign too. Perhaps I'm being totally naive, but I just don't believe that it's purely about money.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI still think he will sign.
This is negotiation being played out loosely in public. The only thing that has changed since last week is his agent/lawyer posting 7 laughing emojis on Twitter FFS. We haven't had any other info than that and it has lead to absolute panic stations.
The difference with this and Gini is that Gini was not banging in 20 goals a season. Goals are the3 most precious commodity in football and we have a guy that scores and loves scoring them. Salah has underpinned the single most succesfull period in the last 30 years of the club. He is a rational guy settled in a team literally designed around him. I can only see an agreement being reached.
As every my job round here is to inject a bit of positivity
I just can't decide if a big trophy haul will work in our favour this year (ala Gerrard), or work against us as he'll have done the lot and might want a new challenge. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I might not be an Everton supporter but I understand the suffering.
Thankfully the main Scots were reds when I was a lad. They only had Graeme Sharp.Modifying post.

Mohamed Salah's agent tweeted a string of laughing emojis after Jurgen Klopp's recent comments on Liverpool's contract situation with the Egypt forward, but the Reds' boss was wary with his response today.
"I'm not on Twitter, so that's another good reason for that," he said.
"You got me in the trap and I created headlines. It's all fine. I don't know about any kind of reaction but I am not concerned. It is how it should be. The decisive parties are in contact."Modifying post.

Well, I've just joined the Scottish society here in Malaysia - they are a happy bunch of lads! I think it's the sun and cheap foodOriginally posted by Buzzo View Post
Too right they are
I moved away for ten years that seemed to help. Injecting positivity into the Scottish psyche is a calling.

If the club have literally offered him as much as they can without destroying the salary structure completely, then I'm fine with Mo and his ****** agent just choosing what they want to do. If he goes, he goes and he will never be as good elsewhere as he is here - he can also kiss goodbye to the statue that Klopp also warned Coutinho about.
We have the next generation coming up on the rails and fast - Jota, Diaz... both incredibly talented and with the potential to become long-serving superstars. No player can ever be replaced like for like (in the main) but different players bring different skills and playing styles. And I'm 100% fine with that as the team evolves. We may bring in a Bellingham and another young forward like Raphina or Bowen to complete the line-up of succession...
I'll be far more worried when Klopp eventually goes... I have no idea how I will cope on that day...

I will have completed my mastery of all things footy via my extensive and instensive Fifa training. Mastered it from Fifa98 right up to Fifa22 so I reckon I probably know as much about building a team now as Frank Lampard.
So no worries when Klopp goes.
Kloppo out, Jaco in.
Seemless stuff and just think how fantastic the next guy is going to seem after my three week stint in charge.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
