I think Mo is a law unto himself and is nowhere near as impactful this season. It’s a tactical decision, but it’s alienating him. Elliott is doing a decent job of holding the ball and playing the simple pass.

Salah is running down blind alleys and into trouble more often than not. So surprising…

Always enjoy when people post Klopps comments about players. He is never going to throw any player under the bus. He actively takes the pressure off any player that is under media scrutiny, that's the type of guy he is. Behind closed though, different story imo.

Klopp's comments are nothing to do with how well Salah is playing - they are about his position on the pitch and whether it has changed from previous seasons - i.e. is he now spending more time out wide now than in the past.

The implication in some quarters is that Salah has been hamstrung so far this season by Klopp's instructions to stay wide; here Klopp is implicitly disputing that idea, stating that Salah spends no more time out wide than usual.

I'm talking about performances on the pitch and what seems to me to be Trent's inability to get past Mo's and get crosses in like he used to and Mo inability to do what he has been doing his whole LFC career. That's not slating Elliott merely saying it's different and something that's need more work to gain an understanding.

I think its fairly obvious even last season, they all end up stood next to each other.

You'd expect the quality of Salah/Trent should be able to adapt it.

For sure. Presumably they were in that space before as it was there to begin with, so if Elliot is there, they need to ****ing move.

Don’t expect the movements of the team from 3-4 years ago to be the same now. The coaching team has made a deliberate decision over the last 2 seasons to change the patterns of play.

Don’t expect the movements of the team from 3-4 years ago to be the same now. The coaching team has made a deliberate decision over the last 2 seasons to change the patterns of play.

I agree he is very honest but he will never throw players under the bus publicly and is always very positive in his assessment. No doubts behind closed doors he is a bit more ruthless.

There's been a humongous drop off in form, its quite alarming. It's like he doesn't give two ****s. He even laughs and smiles when he misses sitters!

He seems very isolated. We cannot get him into space at all and that is where he is at his best.

It is like the discipline and shape has gone on that side. It is great having players roam when a team is fluid and getting results but when you are regularly getting punished for it you need to concentrate on getting the basics right. The flair will come back once we are back in a decent run of form.

I get all of that, but poor touches and a total inability to beat a man are surely personal issues.
