I don’t think he is tired. But teams know what they are getting, and we cannot ever mix it up due to injury. Fatigue is not the only reason to rotate.Modifying post.Comment

he is suffering due to the lack of cohesion in our play, Nunez still learning the system, Gakpo same, Elliott shoe horned in to the team &s taking up any free space, no dynamism from midfield, Bobby injured, Jota injured.

I'm struggling to see how the form of other players is stopping Salah from completing passes when team mates are in space in the box, or is stopping him from taking on and beating his opponent rather than continually being dispossessed. It's also hard to understand how the form of other players causes him to spoon shots way off target.Comment

I think if we are honest and take his performances in isolation and forget how incredible he has been for us.... he has been pretty awful of late.Comment

Since before it really, he hasn’t been great since the first half of 2022. He’s been putting in decent numbers by average standards but not what we have become used to. But he’s not given up, there is nothing in his character or past that suggests this mentality.Originally posted by Harv View Post

He averages 50 games per season for us. And never gets injured. Imagine today, Salah gets benched as he has been in poor form, and we line up with Jota, Diaz and Nunez. But we can’t do that as 2 have been injured most of the season and the third is just coming back from injury.Modifying post.Comment
