If playing Mo Salah every week is our biggest problem, then **** me, what a time to be an LFC supporter.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

      definitely.

Still banging in at least three goals every game even without him contributing. Seems like loads of people look for the imperfection at full time every single match.

Two teams on the pitch both fully committed.

And we come out on top.

      Again.

Aye, if ever there was a time for him to hit a baren spell, it's now.

No way he won't get his mojo back before the end of season and when he does, God help the opposition. Fred and McTominay out for United, so good chance this will be the start.

And his usual greediness when other players are better placed looks even worse when the form looks shot, and makes him look like he's playing for Salah FC rather than L.F.C in light of the ongoing contract impasse.

Good for the contract negotiations too.

His number of assists suggests his interplay is pretty decent.

I agree to a certain extent, obviously not at his best going forward but defensively he put a massive shift in imho.

That’s the bare minimum in a Klopp side to be fair.

Is he likely to get better?
Have we seen the best of him?

I don't think it's wise smashing the wages on him to be honest. But if he takes a sensible £200k a week maybe, otherwise bank 100m in the summer and invest it all. With each passing week his lack of putting pen to paper works in our favour.

I thought he played well yesterday tbh.

He is scoring 8/10 in the papers. Missed a couple of chances but worked his nuts off.

Yep he is playing to the levels of a "good" winger at present rather than the crazy high standards he has set for himself. Course Mo's good is enough that he would walk into most teams playing at that level.

You could see two City defenders or a defender and a midfielder go out to him pretty much every time he got into their final third.

None of our other attackers draw a minimum of two directly to them with the same sort of regularity, though if Diaz continues to play as he has been that could change.

People said similar last summer, that we'd seen the best of him, yet he was having his best season ever pre AFCON.

Next year he'll have a full summer's rest and no World Cup distraction, so I'd be backing him to be golden Boot winner again. He'll maintain a high standard well into his 30's and should continue scoring 20+ goals for a few more seasons.

If he signs a new contract, he'll be worth every penny, assuming a compromise can be found.

It’s not a physical issue, it’s possibly a slight lack of confidence he’s going through atm, but stick with him and he’ll be back to his best in a flash.

He’s still occupying defenders and is always giving the outlet option. Thought he was pretty decent yesterday.

He still looked sharp, just not scoring goals and over thinking things. His work rate has been brilliant, just missing the back of the net is all.
