I don't think anyone is doubting how good he has been for us. The question is on current trend, how good is he going to be for us. I've said it before, but the Salah of 5 years ago was lightening pace and super-quick feet. None of that is on display anymore.

Not forgetting, he’s been ****ing amazing, one of the very best. But, he is done at this level. Not sure how bad his last injury was but he is reminding me of Torres after his injury. Legs have gone.

He has the strength and does have a great pass and assist in him, but he is now often matched by younger, faster players. That said, would be nice for someone else to turn up as a match winner so that the pressure isnt always on Mo.

I think he’s just lost the speed, not just pace wise, but timing wise to take those chances and make those passes. It happens to players, they know what to do and how to do it but their body just losses that little bit and that split second too long means it’s not as effective anymore.
