If the Saudi mega money last summer was true, he should have been sold then.

But on last night, if he hadn’t Darwin’ed that chance we’d have won the tie imo. That’s despite him being dogturd in the first leg too. I’ve been critical of him for 18 months but people reasonably pointed to his end product, but without that he’s nothing now.

When you know, you know. We've all been there, i remember my last game vividly and the fella that i couldn't match for pace.

A move to Saudi is in the benefit of all concerned. It could've happened last summer but the offer came in far too late to do anything with it - so those in the know say anyway.

90% of the time when he receives the ball he cant do anything with it because theres a defender always clinging to his back, arms and legs practically wrapped about him with not a care in the world from the ref. And thats around the halfway area.

Would probably help him if he had someone on the right flank that would actually run a bit too.

TAA plays like he is the guy in his 30s that has lost a few yards of pace, just constantly trying to play the hollywood paces.

He did in Bradley and he still looked ****.

Having said that, if Amorim comes in and switches us to a 5-3-2, salah being one of the two up top would probably be good for him. He can no longer beat a man for pace or dribble past people, but in and around the box he would do numbers without the legwork or being wider on the right. If he wants to go 3-4-3, salah probably needs to go.

Yes, provided he was also happy with not commanding an automatic first place / more bench time. He's not a bad player at all, even as he gets older. Perhaps a position less reliant on pace as mentioned above.

Potentially idiotic question from me, but could Salah play a kind of false 9 ?

Yes time for him to play a different role now if he stays. He’s great at holding the ball up as well. Very strong player and has shown more this season he has a good little pass to open teams up.

He's not good at holding up the ball anymore.

Seems like he's feeling the pressure to have to score so he's shooting from daft positions and missing by miles.
Maybe training with nunez is rubbing off.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

24 goals and 13 assists this season. I doubt we would be top without his contribution.

Looking at Nunez, Diaz and Gakpo asking a lot for that money to be spent well on the forward line with last years scouting team.

Still think 100m is acheivable this summer even though he is **** now

He looked absolutely gash when he came on, I’m convinced he’s carrying something since his injury and playing within himself to get through games

Maybe that's why he's stuck to the white line all game - barely involved in the middle these days.

                                No chance.

Doesn't have the legs for it but most importantly he's inherently 'selfish'.. I say that with inverted commas as that mentality has done very well for him as a wide forward but the opposite of what is needed for F9.

More chance of Sbozo being a fit there. Physique, legs (hairy), passing, vision, finishing.
