I would absolutely shocked. I personally think this is the issue with the contract, We are playing brinkmanship with Mo, We know he wants to stay, He knows he wants to stay. So based on that might be lowballing offers.

Mo has spent too long chasing PL and club records to throw it all away for a bit more money. And he knows that we know it.

He is at Messi/Ronaldo level respect, specially in the Middle East and will never have a problem with earning silly money into his late 30s and early 40s. This contract with us is not going to be his 'last big payday'.
