Ah, enjoy bud. Hope Salah gives your lad a reason to cheer. I still remember my boys first trip to Anfield. Happy times.
    Enjoy!!!
    I love Sarah

LFC board continue to back Arne Slot in the wake of Mo Salah's incredible outburst. Rightly IMO. No man bigger than the club etc. Would certainly not be a shock if he doesn't travel to Milan for Tuesday's Champions League game.
He's put a manager under pressure in an impossible position. The decision of who was playing mid-week was likely already made ahead of the weekend game (injury permitting) and Salah's comments.

If Slot plays Salah after this, Slot looks weak, it looks like he has backed down to pressure from Salah whether this is true or not. If he doesn't play Salah it looks like he is doubling down on his position.

Whatever the plan was it kind of feels like the manager can't pick him because doing so undermines his own position and arguably does more damage to him and the club. For what it's worth I think a deal for Salah has been done for January as I doubt he would have come out and made those comments were he expecting to be back here after AFCON...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Take him to Milan and keep him on the bench

Balls alright on the selection for mid week.

If Slot starts him against Inter, then I reckon he has to bring him off at some stage too.

Salah has proved though that he can't play right midfield.

I'd actually quite like Slot to be as open and honest in his press conference for the milan game as Salah was in his post match bitching session after the Leeds game. Slot should.come out and say "Salah is an amazing player as I have already said on numerous occasions. And as I told.you in my discussions about the Sunderland and Leeds games, I had to select players based on the opposition we play. Both Leeds and Sunderland play with attacking full backs and we can't afford having a right winger that does ****in nothing defensively....... It was ok last season when he was contributing offensively but right now he is doing **** all on both areas

Mohamed Salah is out of Liverpool squad. He is not travelling to Italy for the game against Inter. Decision made by the board and Arne Slot.

I reckon he has already been sold.

Probably the right decision as there has to be consequences to what he did.

Can't see him starting against Brighton either. He'd never ****in pass the ball ffs!!!

Very sad how it has finished imo

The correct decision. No man is bigger than the Club.

If true. There are no winners in all of this, Salah is well liked and respected in the dressing room. Unfortunately I can’t see anything good coming from this.

Maybe a kick up the backside everyone needs! They all pull together and finish the season with some pride.

Hopefully it has opened the door to some honest conversations…agreement on tactics and player performance expectations.

Well if he can change his attitude and accept he is not an automatic starter and that the club needs to develop other options, it could work. I still think it would require an apology or explanation of some sort.
                        Really?

Do you think the players would think as highly of him after his rant on the weekend? And they can see for themselves the lack of effort in tracking back & his form falling off a cliff so they probably expect him to spend time on the bench with the talent that we’ve bought.

Nope. But what I would say is that if it’s true that they do want him out and if it’s true what Mo is saying is happening (being suddenly ghosted) then neither side have covered themselves in glory imo. Whatever you think of him, his overall positive impact on this club has been astounding, and it deserves to be respectfully resolved by both parties.

Not sure that's true as it would be all over Sky etc.
