Thanjk you.

Salah has 9 Goals 4 Assists since 11th March after that PSG game when we stop playing. The drop off has been happening for quite some time.
When did he sign the new contract?

Well that's more on management than Salah. They looked at his output in the first half of the season which was absolutely ridiculous and maybe thought he's such a fit guy that the age would be less of a factor than with most players. Personally I thought giving a 33 year old a bumper contract was crazy. We had a specific way to play Mo, Trent released him so many times, zero defensive responsibility and was almost played like a winger /forward. Trents gone, we've made so many changes on that right side and throughout, Mos legs haven't clearly caught up with him at this level and we've brought in two new cfs clearly aimed at life at Mo and a new style of playing which seems to have thrown the balance off up top and maybe put Mos nose out of joint.
It's a **** show, Mo should go, someone upstairs should be held accountable for the contract and summer business failings and Slot has to take huge responsibility for tactical and personnel failings throughout the season. What a ****ing disaster but we are only a few points off 4th spot, champs league qualification is the aim, so there is time to pivot and save the season. Whether of not Slot can do this, I'm just not sure but clearly he is going to get time.
I know Indy's record has changed quite a bit, but there's a lot there that doesn't make sense. Implies the decision to sell was what prompted the outburst - maybe that's what Mo meant by "some-one at the club wants me out". How exactly would Mo's agent find out? Perhaps we approached a club about their interest and they told Abbas? Strange that Mo wouldn't have alluded to that, given he was in the mood to over-share. The idea we would only sell if our valuation is met also implies we are content to keep him. Sounds like the club may have just been testing the market.
And about Slot - no doubt results need to improve and perhaps he has been told that, but the idea we would approach Xabi instantly? Presumably only if results don't improve? Slot won us the league last season - rationally he is a lower risk than Xabi who has never managed in the PL, even if the latter was originally first choice.
Is the squad set up for the way Xabi wants his teams to play? (Or anyone else for that matter )

I think you're right with everything you said in the first para, but I think the second is a little harsh. The club were between a rock and a hard place on his contract. A lot of fans were demanding the club renew, even if a few - you and I included I guess - think it was crazy. But we and many others have sought refuge in the idea that if it doesn't work out, Mo is still very bankable. Perhaps the suits thought the same way?
Some of Slot's decisions are a little strange - Gakpo for instance, but I'm sure we'd be better off had we succeeded in signing Guehi, or if Leoni hadn't been injured, neither of which are on the club really.
And perhaps I'm being too optimistic, but I don't think a late title charge is out of the question yet.

Somewhat, they fell for the oldest trick in the book of professional athletes. He was clearly busting his arse for the new bumper pay packet and the moment he got it the numbers fell off a cliff. Happens all the time in all sports.
Not surprised Hughes and Edwards are trying to shift him on now. He couldn't keep up the production and we didnt lose him for free.

Also can't look at Salah in isolation. Club were under a tonne of pressure with 3 big value players leaving for nothing.
The combined cluster**** is about as extreme as anyone could imagine and not something you'd have got good odds on.

Some of this is on Slot but I'm not sure how much he can do in various positions, we'd all like to see Gomez come in for Konate, but up until now that hasn't been possible.
The Gakpo and Salah situations are somewhat interlinked because of the limited size of the squad: we have 6 forwards: Salah, Gakpo, Isak, Ekitike, Chiesa and Rio, bringing Rio into the current ****show is rather unfair and not a good way to bring through a young player. Chiesa (for whatever reason perhaps fitness, perhaps something else) doesn't start PL/CL games. Isak clearly isn't fit and Ekitike I still don't think has played a full 90mins. If you want to drop both Salah and Gakpo there aren't enough options, we can bring Wirtz into forward line or Szobozlai, but you lose them from other areas of the team. MacAllister isn't in great form so preferred midfield 3 is Gravenberch, Szobozlai and Jones. I think he has to pick his battles as to who he drops. Dropping Salah and playing Szobozslai on the right is fine in the short term but weakens us elsewhere, not sure there is capacity to drop Gakpo too... In this regard I have some sympathy for the manager.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Attention seeking asshole behaviour by Mo. Even moreso to be doing this crap on a match day.
If he is that peed off, hand in a transfer request and ride off into the sunset a club legend. Right now his actions are the opposite of someone who claims to love the club and it's fanbase.
The atmosphere at the Brighton game may well be toxic and it will be all down to Salah's interview and this woe is me shyte with his social media stuff.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

His pull is massive, I still feel that the Saudi league is his next stop, and not on the cheap no he is signed up for 2 years. Getting him signed up to that new contract was crucial, we couldn't afford to let him go for peanuts when there are millions at stake was a no-brainer, so fair play to those who got him to sign on the dotted line.
