He's got the entire middle east fighting his corner. He knows what he's doing with this ****.

Yeah but if he gets sold without handing in a transfer request he will get a hefty "loyalty" bonus from our end of the deal too. Most likely a few million.

Cannot see him doing any favours to the club he "loves" if a transfer is potentially on the cards this January.

He has played this very well from one pov. Put everything on the club and manager, played the I love the club and want to play for the club card and will leave (whether sooner or later) getting to have pops left right and centre whilst doing the passive aggressive poor me stuff with his social media pics.

Probably the best I have ever seen play wide right for us in my life time, one of the greatest players ever at the club, game winner, trophy winner and looks to be leaving trying to be a team breaker

I'm seeing that photo completely different to everyone else it seems. The never walk alone thing showing as he sits alone, a sad photo for the fans. People upset by what hes said but really he didnt say anything bad about the club, mentioned he loves it and loves the fans. Just has an issue with 1 person. The theory that he found out he was being pimped in january is something I believe in. Its very similar to when Alonso found out they were trying to sell him off. Although Salah hasnt said he wants to leave, which is the big thing. He said he'll be going, which is different. Came out at the end of last match and waved to the fans for a few minutes. Not the sort of behaviour someone does who is pissed and demands to leave. No doubt why the other players are liking the photo. They dont see him as some traitorous mouthy person like people here.

I blame slot and management for playing him in a position that he cant play in anymore. Should have put him as a striker with a free roam ability. He's good at getting shots off instantly, so why bother putting him outwide and making him run in when you know he cant. Its proper braindead management. Just for the record, I wanted him sold last season. But I think you lot are a little too harsh on him.

One thing I can give him is at least hes still training, unlike ****ing isak who sat on his arse for months and became useful for us.

I get what you are saying and respect it as your opinion, but in light of the current media storm that is ongoing, do you know think it a little unprofessional to put up not one, but two pictures this morning?

He is not a dumb man, and neither is his agent. Neither are they naive men. They know that anything from Salah will be all over the media.

Couple that with his own words about wanting his family to be at Anfield this weekend so he can say goodbye to the fans with his mother present, well it is just throwing more fuel onto the fire needlessly imo.

It's not a case of calling Salah a traitor or saying his legacy/history with the club will be forgotten/ignored, because he is not a traitor and his legacy is going to be as one of the greatest ever players at the club.

But the interview was unprofessional imo and these pics going up to show him all alone sitting in the gym and the pic of him all alone with his awards are equally illtimed and unprofessional imo.

If he wanted to put up pics from the training centre, why not put up pics of him running or working out and caption them with something like "Staying strong and ready to play for the team" or whatever.

The choice of pics is intentional imo and very much sending a message.

A player can be a club legend with imo a rock solid legacy, but still be called out for acting in an unprofessional manner when he in a moment acts that way.

You honestly think Isak didn't train?

                Of course he did but
                a) Gym training is a lot different from a full pre-season
                b) He didnt take selfies of himself whilst doing it unlike Me me me Mo

I want to see JWH riding in to the training ground on horseback with two rifles strapped round his back to sort this mess out. What a ****ing circus we have become this season.

Injustice, you'd swear he's facing a lengthy prison sentence ffs. Lovren is a bellend, awful footballer and should be quiet.. thick as **** he is. The Insta stuff from Mo is so embarrassing and so petulant. Robbo is one who liked both posts btw.

Yep and is someone who has been quick to go online with some pretty horrible opinions on other people, be it because of their sexuality or nationality.

was a car crash footballer, I did some damage in the Lovren thread back in the day, hated him. Man these guys should just play football and stay off social media, same with actors and musicians etc. Do what you do best, earn your millions and shut the **** up as nobody cares what you have to say. They just end up highlighting their character flaws and give us a glimpse into what you are really like as a person under that thin veneer they have manufactured.

Lot to be said for keeping your crap inhouse.

Footballers have the same flaws and the same ego tripping going on as most of us, their stuff just comes with a massive magnifying glass over them due to their potentially global profiles.

And it is not as though they do not get media training and what not, especially the guys at the top of the mens' game.

You eff up online as a pro footballer and it is usually deliberate despite any cries afterwards of an account being hacked/it being an error of judgement/ because of being thick or whatever. Far too many people around them for stuff to come out that is not exactly what they really mean.

Same way with Salah's interview, non playing players do not get picked to do post match interviews and even the playing ones that do the interviews go through the press officers first to decide who does or does not want to do it. So Salah's interview was very much a set up and the person that stopped him was most likely there in advance to ask him to stop.

Was listening to Asmir Begovic go through the process of how post match interviews are arranged in the Premier league and he was very clear that it is almost unheard of for a non playing player to do even a bog standard interview after a game as the club press officer would not arrange it, that the only way it could happen is if a player went to the media off their own back.

He went into a bit of detail as well with regards to what is needed for players that played to be able to go do a post match interview.
