We just might have to wait another decade or two to see that level again. That said I would love to see what an attacking three of Ronnie, Ekitike and Olise that is being fed by Wirtz would look like after a season together.

He's clearly announcing this now to make the end of the season all about him and make sure he gets the big send off he wants.

He will get the big send off no matter what though, that's what he doesn't quite get with his theatrics. He's an all-time great, he deserves a huge send off.

It somewhat takes the shine off everything he does by trying to manufacturer this deity-like adulation he's started craving from fans.

The 24/25 treatment. Just don't ask him to be a flying winger at 33. Get him central and let him get goals and assists.

He hasn't had a great amount of chances at all. His touches in the box this season is averaging single figures per game.
