Did someone other than Klopp buy Robertson?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hate moving Coutinho forward. This axis of Can and Wijnaldum stink the place out more often than not.

          From the Beeb

Robertson explains that Klopp calls the left-back role "a specialist position" and that he prefers his substitutes to be able to cover more than one area.
"For me and Moreno, if we start, great; if we don't, realistically we will be in the stand or not travelling," he said.

"We have attacking people on the bench who can come on and change the game, which we usually need.

"James Milner had played left-back all last season and a lot people on the outside probably thought Moreno was finished at Liverpool, but he has worked really hard in training to get everything right. He has played well since he has been in there.

"It has been frustrating for me because my signing has probably lifted him but I believe that it has given Liverpool two good left-backs."

Not too surprised with line-up. Thought maybe Ox or Sturridge could come in and move Coutinho back, but wasn't expecting anything radical.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Very strange reason Robertson, perhaps he doesn't do enough in training to displace Moreno....

Would still rather see Milner at left back. I have absolutely no way of quantifying this but i'm sure we attacked better with him there. Looking forward to the meltdown if we don't win this

Makes sense to me. He's not first choice.
                    Oh I don't know.

Wasn't aware Klopp said that, but assumed that's why he wasn't making the bench. Surprised he hasn't made more first team appearances though, although I imagone, like Ox, Klopp doesn't feel he's had long enough to fully understand his system.

Makes sense but he's rotating right back, so why not left back?

He probably would have made more appearances had it not been for the form of Moreno who has been very good this season and he really took the bull by the horns early doors in pre season. I'm happy we have both, Robertson will get his chance but I just want the best players playing and right now Moreno is ahead of him on merit until proven otherwise.

Both TAA and Gomez are young and not ready to play 2 games a week. If Clyne were fit I doubt that there would be much rotation at RB
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I don't agree with it but can only guess it's because Trent and Joe have been here as long as Klopp have and equally aware of what is expected of them. I would hope though if we get a good win here, Robertson starts the home leg.
