    Tactical retreat.
You're kidding right? Lovren has a stormer then Klopp will think his tactics have worked and make him his favourite again (did I say again?). I don't know what will be worse for us mid term, whether Lovren stinks the joint or again or whether he has a worldie.

That is the life of a Liverpool fan nowadays.
    One tit for another.

That would imply we were gaining an advantage.

They're set up to be more defensive than a mourinho side.

What a waste by Firmino, we had a huge overlap.

Ox was supposedly on Klopp's radar after he saw him first hand when Dortmund played Arsenal. I can understand why we signed him if we had:

                1) Also signed a centre back or two
                2) Had a genuine rotation policy where he rested Mane or Salah frequently

The mad thing is even with Phil, Mane and Lallana out he can't get a start so what does that say for him? The even madder thing is spending £35m on a guy with a year left on his contract when we were crying out for a CB.

Robertson was needed due us needing a LB but again the mad thing is Moreno being first choice when he couldn't get a look in last year.

We might well win today comfortably but from the outside looking in there are some really strange decisions around the playing staff at the club. Again we seem to be lacking a plan in our transfers and I had hoped Klopp would be ruthless with our weaker players but he seems to want to babysit them.

i have to ask, has klavan ever seen a football before?
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Well without Coutinho and Mane has this team ever been brilliant? Not sure.

We're looking alright, but they are trying to drop deep which is our kryptonite.

Is Klavan trying to make Lovren look like Beckenbauer today?

In fairness to Moreno he has been much better this season, but I am still surprised at how little Robertson has been involved.

The CB situation is pure madness. I can't really believe that we have gone into this with the same back 5 that started against Spurs
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
