Probably because he missed his last one and seemed to be very harsh on himself about it

It's mad isn't it. For such a forward thinking and attack minded manager he makes some very conservative decisions. No need at all for 3 solid CMs nor Gomez at RB. Trent's not even on the bench! It feels like the start of the end, it's awful. When managers start making barmy decisions, like Ged did, Rafa did, Brendan did etc. Not saying he should go and we're without our best 2 players + Lallana and Clyne, but **** me it's desperate at the minute.

Would never have picked Salah to take that. He's been great this season but plenty of flaky moments when the chance presents itself too, and with milner, Bobby, sturridge and henderson on the pitch it was stupid to let him take it. You could tell by his facial expression he did not fancy it. The season and club is unravelling, another turgid performance against a deep sitting side following a defensive capitulation following a transfer window big on talk that turned to excuses...meh. **** Football.
