We need a commanding CB to organise the defence, we've all been saying it for ages, we just need to get our **** together and bring someone in. Should have been done in the summer at the latest. Recent weeks have papered over the cracks but tonight they were exposed.

Maybe. I can see him improving though to be honest. I just don't think Moreno ever will.

Simple question to ask on each player - would they get in the squad of any of our Premier league rivals? Gomez would I think (not the team)

occasionally yes, but the one massive thing in his favour is his blinding pace, he can often recover if he has misjudged a bounce or something.
good player, in 18 months he will be the first name on the team sheet.

Before they got their third we were just hoofing the ball long everytime we got a touch on it. I was shouting at my ipad why are you doing that? Cos you're just giving the ball back to them and they pass it forwards and work some kind of shot/corner.
And guess what? They got a corner and scored!

We should have been pressing the ball and not sitting deep/hoofing clear each opportunity. 2nd half we did not play football. Was a poor 2nd half performance. We still need to learn how to manage a game out.

Being goalside and body shape. You should be picking that up at schoolboy level

He's quick and that for me gets him out of trouble but watch him and keep thinking "goalside" and then you will start to worry
