So? I love Rafa as much as anyone, but his sides were no where near as fun to watch as this team.

Different manager, different era, different everything.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Unless it's a positive and balanced one, you can keep it to yourself.
        Are we winning?

I remember how fired up the players were after Houllier had his Heart problems. It certainly lights a fire under the players if they back and respect the manager like they clearly do at Seville.

A win guarantees top spot. Although it would be typical Liverpool to mess up in the final moments and concede a late set-piece and go out on level points and a superior goal difference but lost a head-to-head.

I can see it. My Mums Parkinsons Diagnosis motivated people to run a half marathon on her behalf. How people use their illness is up to them I guess.

He made the best of a bad situation I guess.

There are no guarantees that Seville will beat Maribor, so even if they draw, we could lose to Spartak and still qualify on away goals.

Am I right in saying that if all English teams top their group, then that only leaves one of Besiktas, Barca or PSG we could draw if we came 2nd?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Regarding the penalty, I haven’t been able to see a sow motion relay but just wondering whether Moreno got a toe to the ball first? Fair play to Seville but there ref can’t be going giving them handouts willy nilly

On the train to Madrid now - then fly back to Dublin.

There were loads of Liverpool fans there many without tickets. I saw people pay €500 for tickets before the game yet there was many empty seats inside. The ground was class, some atmosphere and the away fans just sat anywhere in a terraced type area where another few hundred could have fit. The saw a few fans getting man handled by the police BUT the main one I saw was a LFC fan being escorted out of the ground and on the way down he pushed the policeman's head into the fence and then they laid into him which made the rest of the ground edgy. From what I saw the LFC fan was to blame. They were quiet in the first half except for their ultra group which kept the chants going - when they scored wow, it was mental. When they scored the third it took off, they lashed us with lighters and other stuff! We were kept in for 45 mins after the game although my brother said that is typical in Spain. I saw no hassle in the town or around the ground.

Plenty smoking inside and saw a bunch of lads hoovering coke throughout! The other thing was I have been to fair few games over the years and this is the first time we didn't get a YNWA at the ends, the fans were shell shocked. Once the first went in you could sense it, the impending capitulation and you can sense the players felt it too. They were almost powerless to stop it. Speaking to people at half time people weren't fully confident because we gave up two guilt edged chances in the first half Bevin though we missed two sitters ourselves.

The nerves on the pitch permeate into the crowd and vice versa. A draw was acceptable but not in that manner.

not sure but Real, Bayern and Juventus all look like finishing 2nd in there group.

Solid away draw in Europe that Rafa would be proud of. Not sure what the fuss is about
