The way we were playing second half reminded me of the end of Rogers. The midfield and defence seemed to forget the fundamentals and positionally no-one knew what they were supposed to do.

We seem to ocassionally slip into that mentality and it spreads through the team. Thats were a decent organiser would be good to manage the performance on the pitch, and that is something we lack.

I was watching the end of the game and mentioned that we lack the ability to manage a game scenario where we are losing a lead. I'd imagine it came as no surprise to any of us when the equaliser went in. We seem to lack someone with composure in CB, CM and in Goal. Someone to get their foot on the ball and slow the game down.

Very true, we lack the leaders and dominat cb or cm who can command the pitch and organise the others.
then you have to question whether this manager actual realises this issue.

The move for Van Dijk suggests he realises he needs a dominant centrehalf who organises

Can't say I'm shocked. Been subjected to Mr Baton a couple of times in Spain for no reason. Private security are cunts basically

Ordinarily people might have a pop at football fans but I imagine a more sympathetic response after the public saw how peacefully protesting Catalans were treated by their own police

Worth £75m if it means we can win games rather than get pumped as soon as we concede.

I opened that thinking it would be an apology for the second half.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

To be fair someone on Redcafe joked Firmino was checking his defence weren't ****ing about while scoring.

Henderson should just hand that armband back to Klopp, he is the worst captain I can ever remember. Completely out of his depth at this level, running around like a headless chicken and absolutely offers no leadership at all.

OK, Paul Ince was a dick but he at least tried to be a leader. Redknapp less so. But henderson does not belong in that company
