Not a fan of Hendo but I thought he played well first half, was tracking back and making interceptions but he was poor second half. I just don't think he's that good, he's not overly technical. He's actually quite negative when on the ball and whenever he does a post-match interview he always looks like he's been crying, certainly no Captain.

I don't know what Klopp is going to do here because I wouldn't give the Captaincy to any of them ****ers as I don't trust them, I'm sure Klopp doesn't either and besides, none of them deserve it imo. Can maybe as he has some balls but what has he done to deserve it, the ****er wants out.

I'd be inclined to do what Houllier did and give it TAA, give him the responsibility and it will help him grow and develop and build the team around the young lad, hopefully will show the rest of the useless cunts what they need to be doing. Either that or sign some leaders and give it to one of them next season.

Way too early to be giving an armband to TAA but I get your thinking.

I don't know what he's like on the pitch but Firmino seems like a potential candidate.. Works hard on the pitch, understands the system, motivates the team and hardly gets injured.

Good call, didn't think of Firmino.

If Can had signed a contract he would be my choice. No one else in the squad right now fits the bill.

Salah? Look what he's doing single handedly for an entire nation.

Been said by a few that he's quite quiet though, need a leader really.

I think out of the current (allbeit poor) crop id give it to Matip, will play most games and hopefully the added responsibility would encourage him to organise the defence more.

              Hopefully.

                He's absolute garbage.

Banega took the piss out of our midfield, we're crying out for a player like him.

Surely one of the midfielders should have taken it upon themselves to start getting close to Banega and cut out the supply to him?? That's just a lack of game intelligence.

we have a young squad, milner for captain

Dont think hes getting enough game time, his experience would have helped in that game earlier on.

Don't think there is anyone at the club who screams captain to me.

Biggest problem with our current squad.

you'd have thought the manager or his team would also have been on to this and sent out some instructions...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Exactly, boot him off the pitch and ruffle him up. It's common sense really, our current midfield are hopeless.

Easier said than done though. Watched plenty of teams try and stop Xabi in various ways and failed miserably

That's true. Banega has always been a talented footballer.
