Chelsea build up

We need the points as expected against Stoke. No point putting on the additional strain against a Chelsea side we will probably draw against at best. Not worth going into CL cup final mode today.

WTF?

Almost finally managed to finish watching the whole game on replay. We played much better than I was expecting, however Chelsea also had some great chances to put the ball in the back of the net. Thankfully their European exploits meant they held back somewhat thus giving our depressing midfield and comical defence some reprieve.

I would have snapped many hands off for a draw before the game. This will all be meaningless if we don't beat Stoke though which was my whole point above. More positives from the game were Ox's ball control and intelligence is beginning to impress me and Mane got a full week's rest.
