Sandon is a good shout pre-game. It's where LFC was founded as well.

But also a good shout around going to Anfield beforehand. Particularly if your tickets are in the main stand.

If your tickets are in the M/S, then I would almost suggest the following:

- get to the ground early to do the tourist stuff. You could have a look into the Sandon then also.
- go into the ground when it opens and get a beer and watch the Arsenal match there. If it is your first trip to Anfield then it will be nice to get photos when it is pretty much empty as well. Soak it up a bit.
- enjoy the reds winning another derby.....
- maybe then head to the Sandon to watch the manc derby.

Awesome advice. I was hoping that they serve beer there, the one time I was able to make a game in England was an international match at Wembley, and the game was dry.

For seats, I am in block 103. Any reason I can't still drink at the stadium and then take my seat at game time? Is there different access to things inside the stadium based on your seats?

You can drink in the stadium mate you just can't take your drink into the seated areas and if you want to watch the game i don't think it would be shown in the ground so you would be best going the sandon which is just along the road from the ground or alternatively the 12th man is just by the ground always a good atmosphere in there
