It wasn't a brain fart really. Just after we scored the second we backed off and allowed Arsenal the run of the pitch and they scored straight away and the momentum was back on their side. Had we closed the game for 10 mins after our second the match would have been won.

Both points are mutually exclusive. What you say is correct. But it was still a brain fart from a youngster still learning the 'Gary Neville one second rule' (which was well explained by Neville to be fair).
