One goal on the debut. Once score?

I don't like the original dirty old town song, nir the salford connection. But getting van dijk in a song is pretty cool.

      He’s our centre half,
      He’s our number 4,
      Watch him defend,
      We once saw him score,
      He can pass the ball,
      Calm as you like,
      He’s Virgil Van Dijk,
      Virgil Van Dijk.

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I ended up disliking the Dubliners version for the very same reason. Was about 15 when I found out that it was not an original Dubliners song but rather a cover of a song about Salford, and the Manchester link was enough of a reason for me to be petty about the song after that.

Oddly enough though I don't mind the Pogues' version of it, so am happy to be a hypocrite
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

There can't be many new signings, if any, that have made such a huge and immediate impact

                        That's a great pic too.

                        He's cool as ****.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Although he's been a collosuss since joining, you defend as a team and I think as a collective they all deserve credit for that not just VVD.

Fo' sure, but watching us he stands out as the man mountain he clearly is. I thought Hyppia would be the best CB I'd see for us in my lifetime but Virgil is pipping him.

Klopp deserves credit as well for changing the way we defend, i'm much more relaxed watching us now. The dark days of Skrtel and Mignolet are a distant memory.
