The difference is silva isn't being asked to defend in the opponents half. In a normal defensive setup, virge would be fine. He needs to get his head right though.

...sadly, we all know every time the 'at least...' followed by any length of time is trotted out, it means it's far worse and out for much longer than whatever time period they give initially. It'll be three months min if they say 'at least one month'... ffs.

he has, but hasn't been the same since Pickford incident. Irrespective of how bad we've been this season, he had noticeably less pace last season. Not sure you can get that back at his age and it was an important part of his abilities.
