He has, but are we willing to change the style of play to accommodate him? The whole dynamic of the front three would change hugely if you swap out Bobby for BrewsterThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yes that's fair enough - seems unlikely as the drop off role Bobby plays makes the front three tick, and I reckon Minamino is his replacementOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostHe has, but are we willing to change the style of play to accommodate him? Haven't seen much of Brewster to be fair, so hopefully there is something there about being able to be moulded into a wide forward

A number of PL clubs interested in taking him on loan if we want to loan him out

From the couple of swansea games I saw, he needs to do more in the build up play if he is to break through in this team.
His finishing looks incredible already though and physically he's a presence now.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

But if you think how we will use him, then there will be a lot of instances where we won't need his build up play. If we need a goal in the last 10/15 mins, then it's likely that we are on the attack but just can't break through. So although it's natural for us to think "oh not sure he could do the bobby role", it's possibly more likely that we would need him up top alongside Bobby.
I would keep him at LFC. At least for the first half of the season. If there are games cancelled due to corona outbreaks within squads, then the games could come thick and fast.

yep I agree, I'd keep him as well.
I think we might play a few different formations this season, so a proper #9 might be more helpful than we think right now
But hopefully he also has the ability to improve his build up play in the final third, especially the ability to go wide and attack his defender like a winger

Agree that I thought the same. Perhaps unfair to judge him in another team where we don't know what instructions he had from the manager.Originally posted by Corndog View PostFrom the couple of swansea games I saw, he needs to do more in the build up play if he is to break through in this team.

The thing that stands out for me about him lately is his physical presence. He's quite a unit now!
