I guess it should be Ward’s turn in goal now.

Great win and what a game of football for the neutrals. I'm sorry that this is going to come across negative but once again we showed that we have problems closing a game. At 4-1 you see the game out. There was no need to commit too many players forward. Just hit them on the counter. We need to be smart in these situations. Overall, it's a massive 3 points and we have as good as chance as anyone to finish second. Hopefully City go on a run of losing games and we catch them

We have lost so many games from winning positions it's ridiculous. I honestly don't think we would have survived another 10 mins. Absolutely cruising, dominating City and then the inevitable happens. Once one went in, you knew another was coming.Originally posted by marcus50bucks View PostGreat win and what a game of football for the neutrals. I thought 4-3 really flattered them but it's not a coincidence that we ****ed up at the back once again, must be so frustrating for our forwards lads who have been incredible. Usual suspects killing us as per, sooner than better we get them out of the team once and for all.

I honestly feel that he's the only one of our keepers who can have a hope of still being here next season.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostI guess it should be Ward’s turn in goal now.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Can came off with around 25 mins to go I thought?Originally posted by Fredo View PostIt was probably difficult for Milner to come into a game like that. There's nothing else really. Milner is generally a very reliable player.
I thought our midfield and Can especially had to run a lot today to press them up the pitch and probably explains why Klopp changed in the last 5 mins.
I think the next step for this team is to control the ball better in certain situations and against the best teams. 36% possession against any team is not great really and always gives the other team a chance.
