I agree about winning is winning & we have a decent chance of winning it too imo.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

      Happy Friday.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Well, you know there are fantasists others that think we can finish second and win the CL.

He hates every player we've got and everything about the club. Why would you even bother?! I'd jib it if I ever felt like that.

Since the Swansea game, which was a shocker it has felt like a massive over reaction.

This is the best season we’ve had in ages. Through to the knockouts in the CL for the first time since Rafa. Still in the FA Cup and right in the mix for top four.

Some supporters just happier focusing on the negatives I guess.
              Modifying post.

I was there last year around this time and Frank The Tank gave a superb overview on how to spend a couple of days in Liverpool - did most of what he suggested and really enjoyed the time.

I'm sure he'll spot this thread and reply.

Found it and highlighted the bits that were good - went to Shenanigans but was a bit far out of the way for us.

Get yourself a good breakfast to set yourself up for the day. Moose Coffee on Dale St will be queue out the door busy but there is a reason for that. The food is great!!

For food in the afternoon / evening, to be honest, most of the best gastropubs in Liverpool will be outside the city centre...

My advice? Get back into town after the game and go for a Paddy 7 course meal - 6 pints of Guinness and a potato!! If you want a home from home, then there is a pub on Tithebarn Street called Shenanigans that is good.

If you would like a bit of a pub-crawl, then start at the Ship and Mitre on Dale Street for a real ale. Across the road there is a place called the Dead Crafty Beer Company that is good. You could either continue up Dale Street and hit Lady of Mann but my advice would be to take a detour to Tithebarn street and hit Shenanigans for the Man City v Spurs game at half 5.

For food, then Fazenda is great rodizio for steak. Good stuff and would be nearby. Would strongly advise to book it in advance though. If that doesn't suit, then CAU is a good Argentinian restaurant on Castle Street is great steak as well.

Back to your hotel then for a treble-S before heading back out. I would then suggest that you get to Hope Street / the top of Hardman Street and work your way down from there (it's all downhill!). Fredericks is a good spot and the Philharmonic Dining Rooms is worth a pint in if you haven't been before. Then work your way down Hardman St. The Old Blind School is okay - there might be some visuals there. Across the road Fly in the Loaf is good.

By then you are likely to be full of booze but still want to stay out and enjoy a drink with your brother. Get to the bottom of Hardman Street and go to Berry & Rye. This is just a black door on Berry Street but is a good speakeasy style place that do great whiskey cocktails. And it stays open late.

If you were mad for road then get to Seel Street - which is off Berry Street - and just follow the smell of clunge..... ha ha

For hangover cure the next day, then a burger in Almost Famous wont let you down!!

First question. No more transfers in.

More hits, Lallana has had a setback, out for West Brom at least. Milner has a dead leg but he's no real loss anyway.

Clyne getting back but not in team training yet. Seems the drugs ****e was a red herring.

                          Klavan out too ffs.

Starting to feel a bit better about having accidentally agreed to go on a date with a 32 year old scorcher on Saturday night, forgetting this was an evening kick off. Gonna miss it. Ah well, at least I'll get my nuts in and only miss us putting out a scratch side

How does one accidentally agree to go on a date? She make some plea bargain in order to escape your basement and in a moment of weakness you nodded your head?

I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
