i noticed last night we bypassed a CB with a pass a lot last night; previous games is have gone LB, CB, CM, CB, RB & back & so forth.

Last night was more LB, CB, RB, CM, RB/LB; its only a difference of a pass or 2 but is so much more progressive

Matip went for Can instead of Gomez every time it was blatant & was 100% something they have been working on to push us up the pitch faster. I would love to know the stats on how many times he played the ball up to Can.

        Voovde is it?

Matip played much better. But it seemed like we were playing 352 or 3511. Can went to the right wing for large parts while Gomez acted as the third CB. This gave Matip the David Luiz role.

Much better with the ball being moved quicker by most of the team.

Hendo had a really good game for me , Bobby F must be a nightmare to play against

And Robertson was playing wide left.

big win to get after the last couple of performances - see how spurs do tonight and sunday is a massive game - after arsenals result, if we beat spurs we are in a nice position.

A lot better than I was expecting last night - we are a ****ing nuts team to follow - either brilliant or ****e

We are actually the form team in the League over the last 5 games.

                        Modifying post.

Much better week. 2nd place is in our hands now. Even if, big if, Spurs beat us (a draw is more likely) then they have Arsenal after that. An Arsenal with Auba, Mikhi finally unshackled from Jose's double-decker and Ozil with some intelligent players around him again. And Arsenal know they have to win that game to fight for their outside chance of 4th.

mmm, it's going to be tough until the end of the season in the race for fourth IMO. Last season most around us didn't look like dropping points and this year half of the table are fighting for security.

I have a suspicion Chelsea may fall apart but other than them, unless the others suffer key injuries including us, it looks like a lot of the clubs will be vying for the top four come the end of the season.
