Easier fixtures ahead but surely Klopp learned a few things about some players there.

Blaming this on the ref or their fans or players or wahtever is pathetic.
We can still get second, but today we were ****, period.

Yes - In the second half they stopped us from scoring 2 goals, their goals were forced errors, our goal came from a brainfart. We didn't really have any clear cut chances.Originally posted by inijjer View PostWere they? What did they do for the 2nd half? 2 errors in first half cost us.Really?

I don't think they were, we made mistakes for their goals, they just defended for the whole second half and crowded us out. They were helped out by some favourable refereeing decisions, not awarding penalties, not booking their players, Valencia was lucky not to be sent off and gifting them freekicks for nothing allowing them to break up the game.Originally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostWell they were better than us. Not the end of the world. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Same really. That game matters and we've not raised to the occasion once again. It's not that we didn't know how they would play.Originally posted by Lecter View PostNo
