    -------------------

    This is it!

This should be a walk in the park as we hold a 5 ****ing 0 lead so lots of run outs for players that haven't had a look in recently.

Despite that, I hope Mignolet keeps those clown gloves on and sits on the bench.

If you want a taste of how Porto have been playing then check this out -

Impeccable build up thread yet again FB.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

      My lineup would be:

      Karius
      Gomez-Matip-Klavan-Moreno
      Gini-Lallana-Milner
      Ings-Solanke-AOC/Mane/Woodburn

Makes no sense to not rest Firmino/Salah/Can/Henderson and the entire back 4 before the United game which is so much more important for us right now.

Having said that I get the impression we will only see some slight rotation in the midfield and Solanke/Ings in with the rest of the team the same as who played Newcastle.

Separate competitions Dom, plus this one feels like a bit of a dead rubber so I thought I'd do this and build up the buzz for the Utd game at the same time.

We can't change that much of the team tbh., even if it looks assured, we need to control the game and finish it. Having 9-10 changes isn't good for a coherent performance.

I prefer we only rotate 1-2 players in defence, with Matip getting game time and maybe Gomez as well. Keep Robertson on left back to have some form of concentration there...

Henderson makes sense to rest to keep him fresh, but Can could easily play today and in the weekend. I would rather rest Milner to be honest. Question is if we have enough going for us with Lallana in central midfield in a game we just want to control to death.

Doesn't sound like Klopp plans on many changes

‘I don’t think for a second about resting anybody. I know it’s Manchester United afterwards but we cannot change it.

‘We can’t say “now we pick this and rest him”. So we are on the way. We are a challenger so we have to work for all of that. And we will work for all of that.’
                    .
                    .
                    .

Would be utterly bizarre if we don't rest anyone, after going the whole season resting players when they probably didn't need it. If you get a chance to rest players in March you take it surely?! If the squad players can't be trusted to see through a 5-0 advantage at home then we have serious, serious problems here.

Well Klopp said that it was the strategy from the ongo. We rotated a lot in the first half of the season to be able to field the strongest possible team for as many games as possible in the second half.

Yeah, for games we need to, this is basically a friendly.

I think we're about to go full heavy metal for the next 12 or more games.
