Also just following up on this comparison:Originally posted by Pablo View PostComparing him to Mason Mount is an interesting one. I watched them both at Derby a bit last season. I always felt Mount was more involved in the play, and Wilson more on the periphery. But when Wilson did get involved it was normally decisive (he scored some crazy goals).
For Derby:
Wilson: 49 games, 18 goals
Mount: 44 games, 11 goals
They're both on 3 goals this season. Mount is playing for the better team, but I still think Wilson might outscore him.
He's going under the radar a bit compared to Mount so far this season, but with Mount supposedly worth £60m (according to Klopp!), what does that make Wilson worth?
With all that said, I'd still say he's unlikely to make it at LFC and we'll probably end up cashing in. The bar is just so ridiculously high.
Wilson: 27 appearances, 7 goals, 0 assists
Mount: 41 appearances, 6 goals, 0 assists
Still think Mount is the better all round player, but there's not a lot in it.
I still think we'll sell him this Summer if we get the right offer.

I did a similar comparison a month ago withsomeone saying he was disappointed with him:
He's featured in 22/26 premier league games this year. He missed week 1 (was he there then?) and then against us when ineligible and 2 other games.
7 Goals and 1 assist in 1359 premier league minutes - A goal every other game in a team sat in 16th place
Lets look at his 'peers' in other **** teams
Richarlison, linked with Barca has 9 goals and 5 assist in 2082 minutes
Grealish, 7 and 6 in 2063mins
Martial, 8 and 3 in 1541mins
Dan James, 3 and 6 in 1907mins
Master H Wilson Esq' - 7 and 1 in 1359mins
Cantwell, 6 and 2 in 1782mins
Zaha, 3 and 5 in 2275mins
Ward-Prowse, 4 and 3 in 2250mins
Pepe, 3 and 3 in 1339mins"that is my opinion and that is more important than what anyone else has to say about it" - Mr A.Fergusson, Oct 2011

This season will be a big one for him, I thought that the loan move to Bournemouth last year would establish him as a PL player but it never really worked out. If he is to get another shot at the PL he really needs to rip up the championship (again) otherwise you fear he'll end up another journeyman like the players we discussed the other day.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHe'll be in League One in 3 years. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah - though he's got a bit too much quality to be touring the likes of FC Lokomotiv Plovdiv Blobdiv and Fudbalska Klub Akademija PandevOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostThis season will be a big one for him, I thought that the loan move to Bournemouth last year would establish him as a PL player but it never really worked out.
