I guess it makes sense if we think that he has a future with us, the problem is how well does he have to do in a team like Bournemouth to be deemed a success in the PL and worth a chance with us next year? If he scores 15 goals in the league like he did at Derby last year then great but the reality is he will probably get something like 5-8 something which wouldn't really tell us anything, he'd still need time next year to develop into our side.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI'm not arsed. Makes no difference to us since he's not kicked a ball for us, ever. I'd prefer he was sold but really, who cares. If he tears up the Prem, great, we take him back. But that's not gonna happen is it.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I was looking forward to him getting some game time with us this season & breaking into the team. But i guess he’s still in the prem with bournemouth and will probably get more game time than he would have here so kind of a win win for us especially if he helps take points off our rivals!

Hopefully, he causes some damage to our rivals with his long range snipingOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostI think this is astute. If he has an even half decent season he will had £15-20m onto his value. If he has an outstanding season he might have a chance of the first team. This is a step up for him let’s see how he gets on.

He's supposedly rated at about £20m now, even if he has a great season I don't see his value going much above £30m. If he has a great season he's still coming back here as a backup (an experience backup admittedly) but he's not going to be getting games ahead of Mane and Salah. I'd like to see him get a chance here but I am thinking it becomes less likely now.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI think this is astute. It's more about the numbers we have available. We were bitten by a lack of defenders last season, just hope we don't get bitten againOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI'm not arsed. Numbers isn't the issue. It's the quality. Klopp's already decided to go with Origi, Shaqiri and Brewster as our back-ups, and we have Elliott too.Originally posted by Norbs View PostIt's more about the numbers we have available. I have no issues with Brewster being promoted. It's the quality of Origi and Shaqiri that make me a little nervous.

He might start a league cup game but that's it.
