Now this is what I call a pre-match thread

Can the mods merge it with the other 'effort'

We also need to rest players against Everton. City will be swopping their entire team imo. Now's the time to rotate with 4th almost secured, it's champions league or bust.

We haven't had much of a chance to play counter-attacking football this year, but we're still one of the best going around. They'll have to push up and that exposes their weak point - the defence. I fancy Mane, Salah and Firmino against Otamendi and co with space to run into.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Henderson a yellow away from missing second leg. God knows why he didn't take a yellow in the first Porto game when it was over. Wouldn't have got injured in second leg and missed United either. The fact I would have won a grand if he took that yellow doesn't influence my decision

It's worth noting that Danilo, Fernandinho and Gundogan will miss the next leg if they get booked..

if only can was playing, hes the only nasty one who could intimidate them into a booking, but would probably also get himself sent off too.

talking of which, i reckon city will target lovren, and not just with the ball...

Do City have the players to do what Man Utd and Palace did to us?

I think it's really important Milner and Henderson (think they'll both start) get in their faces, but in a clever way as not to get booked. They've got in them to win that midfield battle. They were sooooo much better second half vs Palace.

                          Ok off to bed!

I've been about 5% productive today, a total write off. Can't wait until the morning!

Please don't let me down Reds..
