He was absolutely shattered though, so maybe needs the rest. We've ran him into the ground a few times in recent years, so I'd be tempted to give Ings or Solanke a chance.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

City will probably rest the bulk of their team and will go full tilt against us.

We need to be smart and ensure we don't go into the City game with any more injuries. What would we do if say VVD took a whack on the ankle and got ruled out? Who partners Lovren then?? We can't take that risk, same for Bobby too

If Klavan is fit he comes in for VVD.

        Gini in for Milner.

        Ings in for Salah.

        Solanke in for Bobby.

That’s it for changes for me.

Wouldn’t even play Hendo here now despite the ban. These are ****ing animals, we can’t let them succeed in injuring a key player. Anyone who needs a game and kids.

Also, no one has mentioned the prospect of winning the Derby, securing fourth and then being able to rest players for the Semi and Final (if we reach those stages). A win on Saturday would be great, it certainly shouldn't be treated as a free hit.

and Allardicee loves to make himself relevant vicariously through us, he will love nothing more than to spoil our CL chances by having his current shower of rag tag kick them off the park players stick one on us.

We will have to be really canny over the next two game to get through this

Is there any danger of fourth place losing a CL place now?

No guaranteed, and also guaranteed straight through to the group stage.

Well yeah **** it then! I wanted to go for third but if we get to the semis then fourth is fine.

With our lack of central midfielders, and if Klopp doesn't opt to use someone like Curtis Jones or Ben Woodburn, then we should think about going to a sort of 4-2-3-1, and getting the likes of Ings or Solanke on the pitch.

Would be a little bit crazy to play him tomorrow imo. He could probably do with the rest.

That said, he's in the groove of his life, so there's an argument for keeping that going too.
                        Oh I don't know.

Henderson, Solanke and Ings to start.

Salah, Bobby and Mane to be wrapped in Cotton Wool

Mad albert could play left midfield in an emergency tomorrow, bring off Giiny or Milly at 3/4 time.

Start with Mad Albert, at 60-65 mins, bring off Giinn/Milly push on Robbo at LB, push Albert into MF

He was very coy when speaking about our injury situation. He didn't want to give anything away. I'm surprised that non of the journo's never directly asked him about the situation with Emre Can, given the rumours last night and Pearce's article this morning.
