i think Darkon is probably referring to the relatively poor standard of the opposition they will be facing.
in our league the bottom teams are always capable of beating a top team but no so much in italy.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Boss night sold out in 10 seconds for second leg.

Playing a team fighting for survival at the end of the season is rarely easy, but moreover, the fact they are also securing a CL spot for next season means they are unlikely to rest players.

Apparently Lovren is recovering well, it's looking like some muscle tightness, nothing serious at all.

Also Gomez should be ready for full training after the West Brom game.

oh i do agree. i think there might be more fight from a struggling prem team rather than a serie A team though.
not based on any knowledge of their league but rather the ability of prem lower teams to throw up the odd shock results even when they are not in a relegation fight, and the big [massive] drop off in quality between the top of the italian league and the lower teams.

do they even have the odd lower team turn over the top teams?

Italian league, like the Spanish is very split amongst quality of top and bottom.

Who gives a **** - We are playing Roma and not Barca, RM or the cheese eating surrender monkeys. It's all good.

My goodness they're susceptible to the press and counter!

It's only highlights but what are your thoughts?

Did anybody go to Anfield for the big screen showing of City away? Anyone going for Roma?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think its a bit cringe, however having missed out on a boss night ticket. I'm sort of tempted, European Cup semi final to be at Anfield on the Kop with a beer sounds alright.

I didn't factor in the drinking aspect actually. I assume you'd be allowed to to drink at your seat for it?

Am debating heading over if we make make the final, as Ukraine was never an option for me.

It won't be cheap though, so would be curious to hear if anyone's been to decide if it would be worthwhile.

                            you are allowed to drink.

I'd head over the final regardless tbh, just being in town will be good enough. I watched the 2007 final in the royal court, which was pretty decent, result aside

I also missed out and am coming to town for the 2nd leg. Charlie said there's an event at the Camp & Furnace?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
