Ive grown up around Serbs and Croats. They're all ****ing mental and flip their lid at the slightest thing. Put them in a group and its mayhem.

      Hot birds though. The best.
Went to IRL vs Croatia in the Poland euros a few years back, stayed in a camp site/camper van. A group of Croats were beside us and even though we got on they were terrifying. As wide as they were tall, clearly ex military, lines around their eyes from past horrors I always thought - they had seen ****. The build up to the game was fine and every night they insisted we joined them for a drink of whatever moonshine they had brewed.

I was terrified i’d say the wrong thing so I kept politics, ethnicity and all that out of the conversations. My abiding memory was the day we left they wanted a group picture and all of them doing a full Heil Hitler arms - myself and my buddies just stood there terrified!

The Croats were having nightly battles with the riot police and Lech Poznan ultras while the Irish were drinking looking on bemused!

Yep. I worked with a Croatian builder on a recent job. The guy was as nice a bloke as you could meet....until something wasn't quite right. Then it was a barrage of broken english expletives, smashing bits of timber and threatining to walk off site Absolutely classic. A complete and utter psychopath.

Has he ever been a number 1?

Wenger may have been left field but he had significant managerial experience.

Wenger was only in his mid-forties when he got the Arsenal job. Buvac is nearly 60 and he's still never had a managerial role?

                  It'd be a mad appointment.

Liverpool confident Zeljko Buvac to return despite reports of disagreement

                      By Sky Sports News
                      Last Updated: 01/05/18 4:34pm

Liverpool insist assistant manager Zeljko Buvac will return to his role alongside Jurgen Klopp at Anfield - despite reports in the Bosnian media he is in line to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

Buvac, nicknamed 'the Brain' by Klopp, has temporarily left his role for personal reasons - Sky Sports News in Germany understand he is currently in Mainz where he first teamed up with Klopp back in 2001.

Sources in Germany also understand Klopp and Buvac have had a disagreement although further details are unclear and Liverpool's position has not changed since the club clarified their stance on the Bosnian's departure on Monday.

Liverpool say Buvac remains an employee at Anfield and his position at the club is not affected by this absence.

The decision was taken by Klopp and Buvac over the weekend to temporarily suspend their working relationship and because it is a personal matter, the club will not comment any further on the issue.

Klopp will be without his long-term assistant when the squad train in Rome later on Tuesday as they prepare for their decisive Champions League second-leg against Roma on Wednesday. Liverpool are 5-2 up on aggregate.

"Jurgen Klopp’s former Liverpool assistant Zeljko Buvac has been reported in Bosnia to be under consideration by Arsenal and could be an option as part of what will be a new coaching set-up, but he has not managed since 2001.

He would be well-known to Arsenal’s new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat following their time together at Borussia Dortmund and is extremely highly regarded for his work on the training ground."

Sounds like guess work to me.

Absolute madness if he goes there just to be a part of a coaching set up. Intriguing all this, love to know what's gone on.

Some journalist yesterday started a Buvac to Arsenal rumour on Twitter, and then admitted it was fake.

Now it's spread, and it's like, wtf?
