Yeah they have before but the TV deal might have changed since then. Just wanted to check.
      Oh I don't know.

I see the people of Kiev have come out to offer fans free accommodation in response to the piss taking actions of the local hoteliers. Nice touch.

I know that they have done before but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere that this is the case this year

Edit:http://sport.bt.com/football/real-ma...11364268241406 This link says it is exclusive to BT and
And if you're not yet a BT Sport subsciber and want to watch the showpiece - as well as the Europa League final from Lyon - we can get you set up in just 15 minutes right here!
which takes you to a subscribe link.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

As part of the 2018-2021 deal between UEFA and BT Sport, there is no longer an obligation on BT to broadcast a number of Champions League and Europa League fixtures on a free-to-air basis on TV.

BT has said that viewers will be able to watch clips, highlights and selected games online.

              Cunts.

I'm tempted to watch it on a stream just to spite them.
              Oh I don't know.

And having spent billions on TV Sports rights, BT are making 18,500 jobs redundant.

Not only have they ****ed us over, but their own employees.

                Cunts.

I had assumed that the final would have been on free to air TV but seemingly not. I would have happily paid for a day pass like sky do but seemingly you can't do that for BT

It’s on terrestrial tv in Ireland so a vpn and RTÉ player would work?

                        That sounds complicated.

A stream is just as easy these days.

Still haven't settled on the final plan tbh.
                        Oh I don't know.

It wont spite them unless you're cancelling your BT subscription. Which you don't have

                            Well, the choices are:

                            1. Pay to watch the game at home - i.e. Subscribe, that's what they want me to do
                            2. Go to the pub and watch the game that the venue has forked out a substantial amount in order to get the trade
                            3. Watch it on an illegal stream
                            4. Don't watch it at all

I reckon option 3 is likely to spite the ****ers.
                            Oh I don't know.

It's a **** deal from UEFA to have their showpiece only watchable to subscribers surely they should have done a deal where the final is on free to air channels rather than just chasing the money.

I'll be signing up for a free trial with someone then ****ing them off before the subscription kicks in.
