i reckon our midfield has been piss weak for most of the year and we have had little back up options.

    our current first team midfielders.
henderson. often injured, can be good but often sub standard.
wijnaldum. often injured, can be good but often sub standard.
oxlade. poor lad will have a season out due to injury.
lallana. almost always injured, used to be good but now always sub standard.
milner. runs like a machine, getting on a bit, soon needs to upgrading.
can. gone. now replaced by keita.

so keita and milner are the only decent, readily available, reliable options...
we need THREE new midfielders to fill the blanks.
if klopp is a decent manager he will be ruthless enough to bin lallana, enough of this huggy ****, save it for robbo, virgil and mo, lads who are our future.
out with the dead wood please.
I think thats a little harsh on Hendo and Gini. Hendo had a problem with his heel which was difficult one to get ot the bottom of. When he is on form, he is one of the best CMs in the Premiership. Gini too for the most part has been really good, sure hes had a couple of off games, but hey thats allowed from time to time, they are not machines.

Lallana is a worry and I love the guy, his injury record does not hold up well to scrutiny, and we bought him supposedly at his peak years which he now exiting. Difficult one, I'd give him one more season to let him play him back into the first team. Fit and in Form, he is one of the best CMs in Europe in my eyes.
Gini is a good 7 out of 10 player, occasionally he has a blinder sometimes his form drops to a 6 but rarely stinks the place out. Great lad, great player, no real injury worries. He'd be the last player I would sell.

Not every player can start every game, so you need players like him who can step in when required and still put in 7 out of 10 performances

But we need real Quality coming in, which to their great credit the club and Manager has been doing, for the most part, each transfer window. I really think that Dutch Kid CB is the absolute perfect signing for us this summer, I hope we go all out to get him. We can ease him in or, let him run with it if he picks up a partnership with Virg straight away, because he's so young also says to Lovren, you can have your place but you need to be on it, because this guy is ready to eat your lunch as soon as you drop in form.

Did what was expected - Top four finish. Didn’t win anything but we are heading in the right direction.
        Another MASSIVE game

Played the most amazing football in Europe probably, some astonishing results and the CL final, which is a total heart-break for me. Still not over it even remotely, not the defeat itself but just the way it happened, as bad as that Gerrard slip. Wondering why it has to go down like that so often.

Still stand by my statement that any positive results we might get will only be despite our terribly stupid transfer policy, not because of it. Up until now at least, if we decide to make some changes to it in the future. Credit to the players and Klopp for making it happen with such limited numbers. Even Karius had a great season to be fair, it's such a shame that he could've been a great keeper but I can't see anyone getting back from this

We have a great pack of players, I think it's the best we've had this Millenium along with the one from 2009. Add a few quality names and we can win stuff.
Until the first inevitable major injury, racism scandal, suspension, crucial own goal/assist, transfer request, dressing room argument... Something always has to go wrong here. I feel like ****in ****

I more than approve this season. We achieved our goal in the league, even with 6 teams wanting the top four, and all while managing to get to a CL final. It's a big thumb up on any season that alone. Considering we did it with such a thin squad and so many injuries is just even more amazing.

With a few improvement and a bigger squad, who knows what we can do next year.

Last but not least, we've played some fantastic football and we're the most fun to watch in the past 20-25 years? Big kudos to the team and Klopp, may it long continue!

I do hope we manage to kick on a bit and win a few trophies soon, we're kinda starving in that department.

The final was a massive bonus. To lose it the way we did, Mo going off and Karius, almost means I have to erradicate it from my mind. It feels like it wasn’t a fair fight.

We started so well, and then suffered some real misfortune to lose it, I hope this feeds a real desire among the squad to do it again. Shows them what we are capable of.

We have to go again. But we have to be even better. Concentrate harder, be more ruthless and be even stronger in mind, body, spirit and ability.

I think we will buy Keita and one more midfielder and also bring Grujic back as a squad player.

I think Fekir will be the attacking option added to the team (who can play front 3 or AM) with Wilson and Brewster added to the squad. Maybe Divock back, Solanke and Ings out as well.

And then I expect us to sign a goalie as well. I expected that anyway to be honest as a replacement for Mignolet.

And although Id love us to get to the final next season in Madrid, I'd really love us to start the season well and give the league a really good go. When are the fixtures out??? Would be great to start the campaign with a big game against someone like City or United at home and lay down a marker early doors.

Which midfielder(s) would you ship out? Those incomings leave us with 9 which has to be too many?

He's not worth the hassle of waiting for him to get fit all the time, you accept that to get an elite player on the pitch, he's good but not near that.

Plus I'm annoyed with him for being the sub on Saturday, though that's our fault for being dopey in the transfer market not his in fairness. But still, gerrrr out of our club!!

He still has credibility in England so we'd get ball park £25m for him - Leicester, Southampton etc would be a good place for him.

I stand over what i have said about him is that he gave us a three month period (start of last season) where he played to the level we need i.e. consistent goals and assists. The rest of his time here has been a mix of injuries, playing himself into fitness and mediocrity. He's not quick enough to cover one of the wide players and has fallen behind Ox as the preferred AM and will (hopefully) have fekir blocking him there also from next season.

Proud of what we did in the CL.
Salah our best signing since Suarez.
Not replacing Coutinho in January was a big mistake, probably cost us winning the CL.
We were good but inconsistent in the league, 4th place finish is fine.
Need to spend big in the summer, our top 4 rivals will all be stronger next season - GK, attacker, CB are priorities, could do with strengthening in full back positions as well.
