Based on these friendlies I'd have Lallana start, I've previously written him off due to fitness issues but he's looked great in these games. If he's fit we know he's quality. I'm guessing Henderson, TAA and Lovren (and Fekir) won't be back in time, and Firmino might need some bench at first.

I think you've left out a Keita injury after 28 minutes, and a clear pen not given to us anytime during the game.

I think Klopp might avoid going into the opening game with 2 new midfielders who have no PL experience, so I think only one of Keita or Fabinho will start with the other coming off the bench, and with Henderson not likely to play I think we could go either: Milner Fabinho Lallana or Milner Wijnaldum Keita.

With TAA and Lovren out back 5 picks itself Alisson; Clyne, VVD, Matip, Robertson.

Upfront Salah and Mane are now back so hopefully should be fine Bobby should be back soon too so hopefully we should have our regular front 3.

Agree with that. Reckon Wij rather than Fabinho who seems to be receiving intensive tactical instruction.

Bobby needs a rest and we all need an actual league game to dampen down our Sturridge expectations.

Gini hasn't started proper pre-season training yet though so he's behind. I think he'd play ahead of Milner (alongside NK and Fab) but he's behind schedule.

Before the World Cup I thought there was no chance Klopp changes 2 out of 3 but were we are, I think its likely and Keita almost feels exempt to the rule
