I'm glad he has decided to go for it with us. Close to having some real depth in the squad for the first time in ages. Lallana coming back to anywhere near his previous form could be a major boost as well.

I rearly hate Mourinho, I tend to forget how much over the summer then it I remember at the start of the season the first time they don't win. It's always good to beat that shower, but remember it's preseason and counts for nothing, I'm sure Mourinho would take this if it meant they could get a 0-0 draw in the league.

Let's hope the 3rd season **** up he tends to have kicks in and they have a really ****e season

Yep all whilst whinging that other clubs dare to spend money.


The second there is the hint of a few clubs being able to compete financially with any club he is at, the toys come out of the pram. He needs that crutch of being able to outspend the rest so badly as he has grown to depend on it rather than being able to out manage other managers.

Where once upon a time he would pull off tactical masterclasses against better teams, now he simply relies on being able to buy expensive 10 men at the back type teams.

I know it only pre season and poor opposition but I thought Shak looked excellent. Great movement, sharp passing an assist and a goal. I think we have a proper player who will fit right in. I remember a few years ago he was to be the next big thing. Utd looked terrible.

How close are the remaining players to being involved in games? we have what 2 friendies left before the season starts? and it still feels like the side being put out is far from the side we would like to start against West Ham.

I am expecting the likes of Henderson, TAA and Lovren won't be involved in the West Ham game, I am hoping Bobby and Alisson will play in the next 2 and that we can get a side out which is close to the 11 we want to start the season.
