Don't get me wrong there are some of the most rural parts of the country here. My Mrs is from a big city in Europe and she would agree 100% with your analogy.Originally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostCosmopolitan? In Clare? More chance of Cosmo Kramer than cosmopolitan
Course it is a lot of big talk from me given I venture into parts of Clare every week

- you have some memory Buzzo. Going up Sat morning with the brother but alas I get there close to game time so unlikely to have the chance to meet up in advance.
Am flying to Poland the following morning from Dublin to catch up with my family and go on hols so a late night is out. This useless lot had their chance and they let it pass
I was wide open for a bite last year and nobody took up the offer - hence no offer going out this yearOriginally posted by Roboklopp View PostWho bit Nev before?

Was born in Limerick but lived in Clare once upon a time, along with living in Galway and Cork, so know the county and it's more rural parts pretty well.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Monks is great for some grub. I often eat there or at Paddy Burkes in Clarinbridge when I am in the Galway neck of the woods.
Agree that West Clare has some lovely parts. I never tire of the Burren and love travelling on both sides of Galway bay.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
