Thanjk you.

Amazing game from him. The clips are great as I immediately stopped watching him and noticed in every clip Wijnaldum and Henderson just walking around taking it easy, not worried about any situation developing or wondering how to progress.
That's a good point. They clearly completely trust that he will protect and use the ball well. If anything they let him boss things and express himself. If he can add finishing to his repoitoire then we have an absolute work beater coming through
Looking forward to seeing his match stats bs spurs!
There was one other piece of skill i saw...was from Trent, i think kane was marking him, the ball came over to Trent and Trents first touch megged the prick
I think this sort of flashy manipulation of the ball comes very naturally to him and he'd be playing like this all the time if Klopp hadn't been his manager. He said something recently about how Klopp and Henderson have taught him how to play 'man's football' and I think this is partly what he means - doing away with this stuff, certainly when it's not necessary, and being more economical in his work.
I’m so glad someone posted this as I remember seeing it at the time & wanted the cameras to show it again & again. He’s such a talented player, and to think he’s just 19. He’s a natural replacement for Gini if he decides his future lies elsewhere.
I think it’s harsh on him. He had one moment when he showboated a little bit and lost the ball. It’s his style of play and to be fair to him he’s excellent at keeping the ball and knitting things together. First half he was ok as the team was generally playing well. We don’t want to suppress what makes him special and if he has to take a bit long sometimes then we need to let him. He’s a ball player and these types of players need to feel the ball to find angles and passes.
I was starting to get more and more annoyed with him before he lost us the two points. But Salah earns my main anger. Scores two last game and then serves up this ****.

He is going to be an amazing player. But that was a mistake. When we are only 1-0 up you can’t afford to be that casual.
I agree, he is playing a lot more games than anyone would have imagined.
Jones is a lovely baller, has a swagger about him but he also slows things down too much on times and doesn't release the ball quickly enough. Playing against teams like Brom with the compact, low block things need to be much quicker.
We need to be getting some productivity out of the midfielders other than 'knitting' things together or being the 'glue'; are they scoring goals, creating chances or protecting the back line with stellar destructive ability?

It has been an issue for years.
How many goals do our midfielders score and how does it compare with other teams. lets get some figures
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
