yeh, but apart from the great saves, pinpoint long range passing, quick incisive distribution, controlling presence, leadership, calming influence, chiseled jawline and more beef than a herd of zebu cattle, what has he ever done for us...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Imagine if we had not sold Reina for 13/14, while we still had Suarez.

That could have made up 2 or 3 points.

It been such a blockage to the way we play. It really made me question Rodgers understanding of football, regarding the way we played and how the keeper fitted into that. Reina was perfect for quick counter attacking football, but he replaced him with someone who was so slow and inaccurate with his distribution, that he was a hinderance to how he wanted to play. Was this the committee forcing him on the team? Rodgers seemed to want rid of Reina regardless.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

He's great, him to Keita (when it would have been easier to just smack it) to Mo would have been the greatest assist in the history of any sport. Gutted.

Gonna be funny seeing all the bellend pundits come out of the woodwork as soon as he nearly gets caught on the ball or something "In England yerrrr av to ooof it" despite the fact he's going to be starting 20, 30, 40 + attacks a game by not aimlessly punting it.

He's as close to Neuer as anyone else will get.

A properly hostile environment (how come we always play Palace at night?) and he was properly composed and cool as ****. Away debut, and the weight of the shirt and it’s calamotous occupants seems to not be an issue at all for him.

The sort of keeper that will make people want to be keepers.

                  Love him.

Thought last night would be a real test for him, but as you said, he was cool as ****!
                    Another MASSIVE game

His long balls were sensational too.
                      Oh I don't know.

Even that shot that Wilf had, when he cut inside and it went through TAA's legs. The potential for that to bounce off Alisson and go anywhere was huge, but he held on. Looked dominant on crosses. Made a decent save from the free kick. Gathered up big **** Chris's header with minimum fuss.

Wow. When you spend the cash you get the player.

We've been so used to signing guys and hoping they can step up a level or two that buying absolute quality just seems alien.

Short or long he's great. Massive credit must go to John Achterberg.
