he will but his calmness will prevent more than the ****s up and it was him being cool under pressure which led to our first vs West Ham

True, but some of the risks he's taking atm are, erm, quite risky.
        Oh I don't know.

You'll never win **** all without a big commanding psycho goalkeeper.

          We are sorted

Something that is unquantifiable is luck but it seems that Mr Becker is ‘lucky’ - he’s had a few hairy moments in the first three games but he got away with them. Long may it continue.

One other thing is that in every game when we have needed him he has passed with flying colors. Big save at the end there - right place and did what was needed.

No doubt he will have a couple of **** ups but on balance he brings so much stability he can get away with the odd bit of showmanship.

Ok, but if **** ups lead to goals, then that's no better than Karius, right?

Obviously I'm hoping for no **** ups.
                Oh I don't know.

Don't need a loveable clown in goal. He seems to be able to do the important stuff really well, hopefully the showmanship is early season nerves

To be fair, in the one which was really nervy (where he had to slide in), think the pass back to him was not the best. Got closed down very quickly.

Yeah, he should have booted it.
                        Oh I don't know.

He's brilliant, absolutely love him. And so good to have someone so confident with the ball who's just not aimlessly punting it even in difficult situations, it helps us a lot.

But this is England, Jordan Pickford punting it up the pitch straight to the opponent is "great distribution", Alisson schooling a player then setting up an attack down the wing for us is showing off needlessly.

Yeah he should have but I remember thinking at the time that the pass back to him wasn’t the best, even for a first time wallop

I don't disagree in some ways. His distribution is out of this world. He's a playmaker.

But, dribbling around attackers is asking for trouble. If I wasn't the opposition, I'd be putting pressure on him and closing him down at every opportunity. Law of averages means he'll lose the ball at some point.

Which in itself is an advantage for us. That automatically takes one or two players out of the game if they are in our box when we are starting a counter attack.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
