That was amazing
how long till our next game? I really can't wait.
I was worried about Gomez today but he was great, let's hope he becomes the player we wanted him to be and he's our next regular starter CB.
Everyone was brilliant basically, but when Keita gets the ball he's electric, you can just see something happening. Alisson was a bit shakey on two occasions, let's hope it's just nerves on his debut. And after our pre-season I really thought Wijnaldum might provide more goals this year, but as great as he was today his shooting and attacking instincts really aren't that great. That chance towards the end, when he let the ball get too far... Luckily we have plenty of others to do that

He had a 2 or 3 chances and I don't think hit the target with any of them. I think that we need more goals from midfield. Last year we had:
Coutinho - 12
Can - 6
Ox - 5
Wijnaldum - 2
Milner - 1
Henderson -1
Coutinho and Can have gone, Ox is out for the season, we need more from the rest that we have and the new guys that have come in, If Keita can replicate his form at Leipzig that would be a start but we need the others to increase their outputThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Away to Palace a week tomorrow.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I was nervous going into this game, West Ham look decent on paper and after the World Cup anything can happen. We looked totally in control, unlike both United and Spurs who massively rode their luck at times.
To be honest, I don't think we were amazing, I thought we were somewhere between 2nd 3rd gear. The 2nd goal before HT dictated how the rest of the game panned out, they didn't have a chance to try and just nick a late goal.
Mane was easily MOM for me, very lively, tricky and sharp + the goals.
Keita is very exciting, interesting to see him move wide too, didn't think that was an option.
Great start to the season overall, and very reassuring having a solid base to play from.Vive la France

full of energy, almost didn't realise how much we fell off last season until seeing it again today. Was hard work for them to get out their half.
Our middle three were superb, interchanging roles and responsibilities. Gini definitely has been given a license to roam forward more. I can Henderson coming in and doing well in the set up, not sure about Fabinho just yet.
Still need some fine tuning in our attacking play, but the little relationships between players is great. Mo/Trent, Mane/Robbo and theyve stuck Keita next to his pal.
my bet for the season is Mane top scorer in the league 80/1, decent opening weekend
