Minutes on end. It's ****ing horrendous. After years of doing it, literally YEARS, day in, day out, I fear it, I absolutely hate it. But after we jump in to those moments we fear, we come alive, and we come out alive, and we feel better after it. Better to jump into the pool and freeze half to death than standing there and never jumping "because you might jinx it". **** that ****! GO FOR IT, YOUNG STALLION BRIGHTRED, keep the fire burning!

I'm sick of hearing / reading COYS from my Spurs supporting mates.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It's going to be the greatest epic time of all times. It's written in the stars. There was such a poignant, unnoticed article/interview recently on the LFC website with Milner, where he mentioned in passing "... that all we do is focus on the present moment...". And that's the zen thing. It's the past and the future that gets in the way of things. It's the present where it's at. And I believe that comes all the way down from the manager, it has to, why would Milner say it otherwise? And I believe this attitude of and towards the present, which filters through the Klopp interviews (in comparison to say Moaninho "I won this and that, I achieved this and that) aligns with the orbits of the stars at present and will lead us to glory.

There are times in the universe, in football (which is the greatest storyteller of all time), where the stars align, where little things just seem to go your way (like today, Arsenal could have easily had 2 penalties)... where those little little decisions just seem to fall your way, where Fernandinho gets injured, Jorginho signs for Chelsea, where Liverpool waited for van Dijk, where Alisson makes those saves... when you start watching the games like that, you start to believe, where those stars are aligning. And in my quantum universe, they've aligned already...

My dad gave me a book the other day, which I read in an hour... Roddy Doyle - Mad Weekend. And it's about 3 young Liverpool fans from Dublin flying over to Liverpool for the Chelsea game a few months after our win in Istanbul. And it's basically just about these lads in Liverpool pubs, going to the game.... and I was THERE, in that book, in 2019, in Liverpool, with my best mate and in the greatest madhouse city on Earth. And THATS WHY, we're going to win the league. In my quantum timeline, it's happening. Klopp knows - otherwise he would never have said "We need to turn doubters into believers". It all starts in the mind!!
                Yes mate, that's the ticket

Totally with you on the zen thing - it's exactly the right approach and will serve us well, the challenge will be to stick to it as the finishing line becomes closer. Will have to check out that Roddy Doyle book!

                  Answer is still no.

Looking at that, hard to see where we need to improve really, would be nice to have another full back, a young versatile forward maybe?

But for the first time in a long time, there are no glaring holes.

                        So, have we clicked yet?
                        Oh I don't know.

                          8 games in December

                          8 wins
                          23 goals scored
                          3 conceded

I think it’s fair to say “we’ve clicked”

I think we have, just into something more balanced and resilient than we had previously.

bit bored with all this we are not as good as last season becuase we don't blow teams away in 20minds like last season. As you say we have evolved and with a world class keeper and back line we don't have to be four goals up with 5 minutes to play before we can relax.

It's great because when the attack is misfiring slightly, we can count on the defence to leave us feeling we only need to bag one goal, and when we find ourselves behind we still have that confidence that we can put teams to the sword out of nothing. The balance we have in the team is what feels so different to basically every previous team we've had since number 18.
