Thanjk you.

Newcastle were 10 points clear on Xmas day, but then six points were shaved off during the next two games so they were only 4 points clear on New Year's day.
They then managed to get it up to that 12 point gap later in January when the Mancs lost a few games.
So the implication that a 7pt lead at New year is unassailable is pretty pointless
It was literally in response to your reply to Fuzzy's post with no comment or conclusion from me either way.
It literally could not have been more literal.
Jaco, not Fuzzy
You had commented earlier though regarding points and gaps and, like I said, I knew you'd argue that
I was adding balance to the suggestion that history says we couldn't lose it as we have a bigger lead than has ever been thrown away. Except we haven't.

Anyone else fully expecting our line-up for City to be misteriously without a key player, only to be revealed later that it's due to some bust-up with Klopp / racism incident / disco fistfight / transfer request / 9-month injury, etc.?
Just not used to us doing so well without something going horribly wrong in the worst possible way, at the worst possible time - ever since that Gerrard fight after Newcastle, Suarez suspensions, Firmino accused of being a racist, Torres and Coutinho leaving mid-season, Alonso resenting Benitez and leaving, Masch leaving, Gerrard stomp at United, Gerrard slip, Karius in Kiev... Well some of those occured when we weren't exactly at the top, but still...
I don't think I could take any more of those, for once I just want us to go on and win the ****in thing
Bloody hell Fuzzy, are you plagued by visions of the apocalypse as well?
"If Ritchie Blackmore fell into a vat of ****, he'd turn out to be wearing a rubber suit." - Ronnie James Dio
I'd rather end our winning run against them than anyone else, it can't be said it's a game we'd expect to win.
4pts clear, no more away games against the top 6. FA Cup game next to banish the doubts. Let's go on and ****ing win this thing
Genuinely couldn't give a **** about the FA cup this year but players like Keita need some game time and it'd be great if he sxored or assisted or something to kick on from, our midfield needs him.

I don't think Klopp does either but I think losing tonight kinda forces him in to having to field a strong side in R3 unfortunately
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
