You know what as long as we keep doing better than them, in both side by side fixtures and in the teams that have taken points off them, we will win this title. We as fans need to keep our nerve and realize its not going to be a win every game cake walk. Thats was a tough game, in terrible conditions with a make shift team in some areas against a team which took all 3 points of City and I think Chelsea as well. I'll take that. The referees where ****ing atrocious last night, worse I have seen all season and the commentators were not much better, with 15 minutes to go I changed it over to Chinses so I did not have listen to the constant Oowww they can mess up here salivation

That's it, we seem to forget that City looked amazing at this stage last season because they basically had it sewn up.Originally posted by Nicey View PostYou know what as long as we keep doing better than them, in both side by side fixtures and in the teams that have taken points off them, we will win this title. Previous winners that had teams breathing down their necks made mistakes and scraped wins or even draws on their way to the title. Was muß, das muß.

If we come through our blip with a 5 point lead, then I'll be chuffed.Originally posted by cannotmakeit View Postin my view, we're having our blip in January, losing to City, winning but not playing well the 4-3 with Palace and this draw with Leicester and we're 5 point ahead of City. Hopefully, we will come out of that soon and get back to putting more distance on City.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Hard to say with VAR whether we would have more points or notOriginally posted by Chris View PostFeels really **** that, especially as just like at the Etihad officials have ****ed us over, VAR is here and we are probably 13+ clear and there is no "race". Pretty sickening. But I suppose taking more points from Palace and Leicester than City did v Huddersfield and Newcastle is at least something.
Some decisions have gone for us, yesterday a decision went against usBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

What I am saying is the decisions even themselves out over the seasonOriginally posted by Chris View Post"a decision"

We've been lucky with some and unlucky with others
I personally dont feel we would be better off in terms of points with VARBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Really?????? What decisions do you think that went for us? Obviously as fans we are more likely to remember the times we have been ****ed over, but I am struggling to remember an instance where we didn't concede a penalty / goal or had a sending off that should have been given.Originally posted by Lecter View PostWhat I am saying is the decisions even themselves out over the season

But the Kompany tackle on Salah at the Ethiad and last nights ****in car crash by Martin ****face Atkinson has resulted in a 10 to 13 point advantage being a 5 point point advantage??

The Robertson handball the other week in the build up to Manes goal against Palace which gave us 3 points instead of 1
One of the Salah penalties recently (cant remember who it was against but I thought it wasnt a pen)Last edited by Lecter; 31-01-19, 11:57 AM.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

That's reaching a bit, it was a total accident and we switched off at 4-2 so they got a crap consolation goal, highly unlikely they equalise at 3-2.Originally posted by Lecter View PostOff the top of my head

And if we are doing the Palace game then we should have had a penalty at 0-0 instead Townsend went up the other end straight after and scored
