I am not sure bringing a top level striker and completely changing the way we play was the answer.

Very rare Klopp plays his signings straight away so might have been a month or 2 till we seem them and bringing in a top player think it could have had more of an Asprilla effect than a good one.

No one is saying that are they? With the injuries piling up surely we could have gone after one of our long terms targets & brought them in earlier to help out

Anyway it's all hearsay - we have what we have; lets hope Klopp can manage the squad we have to glory

When you're going for the title, its a bit folly to bring in someone in Jan and expect them to settle into that environment. I would rather play Milner right back over any incoming signing as he knows what's expected of him and knows his teammates already.

There seems to have been some off field issues (illnesses) that have culminated in a period of rotten luck for us. We've just got to take it on the chin and move on.

One massive plus in all this is Keita's second half performance last night. Even when we were flying top of the league, there was still a concern for me in midfield creativity and bringing the ball forward. I think we can plug that gap now with Naby. He might as well be the perfect Jan signing.

Is there any precedent ever for a Premier League team making a big signing in January that helped secure them the title?

I've not got the best memory, but I can't think of one.

There are a few successful ones - not sure about helping to secure the title though..

Anyone else sick and tired of this agenda to make it out like no impartial fans want us to win the league. It’s utter bollocks concocted by trolls and their friends at Sky/Talksport.

                    Aye, it's pissing me off.

Nice to hear Mark Nobel stick up for us after the game, saying he thinks we can do this.

He should be getting a Noble prize for this.
                        Are we winning?

Sherwood said last week, he couldn't see city winning it; this was after the Newcastle game.

Well. if City lose twice we can afford a couple of draws

                                What a race though
