Thats right. I expect us to draw or lose to UTD. Especially now that they have Ferguson helping with the team.

You're a life saviourOriginally posted by rodo View Postfixed it mate

Considering our low scoring and slight mess in midfield getting the ball to our forwards, I'm unsure. We could very well lose 2-1.Originally posted by greenturnip View PostBut we'll be fresh and rejuvenated by then...and angry!

Our midfield gets so much grief. As if the defence are the only ones responsible for clean sheets and the attack the only ones responsible for goals.
A guy like Henderson who had a great game yesterday gets grief because he isn’t playing defence splitting passes yet the very nature of the game dictates that those passes weren’t on. He was a big part of the reason we controlled the game.Modifying post.

Yes, goal tally is fine. But there are other factors to consider. One being last season we had 2 penalties, if the stats I'm looking at are correct. This season so far we've had 5. A couple of those games would have been a loss. Last season UTD beat us. This season they will have more incentive to beat us too.Originally posted by RichC View PostYou do realise we’ve scored the same amount of goals as we had last season at the same point ? Don’t think anyone was saying we were a low scoring side then.

Their incentive to beat us will be the same levels it always is

Sorry, possibly draws. Yesterdays game for example. And I belive it'll be stronger this time since Ferguson is pretty much controlling the first team. He'll put them into a frenzy. Especially since we're top of the league and he would spit blood at seeing us win it.Originally posted by RichC View PostA couple of the games we’ve had penalties in would have been losses ?

This team reminds me off all my best Championship manager winning teams, nearly every player could play in 3 different positions. There is a real strength of character in this team now. Previous teams I always suspected they lacked the bottle to go all the way, I really dont with this bunch. If we can keep the pressure on City until the end of this month it will be really interesting to see were city are having played all those games and a bunch of tough fixtures toward the end of the month just before the Champions Lg kicks in again, which is ultimately what Pep was brought to city to winAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Showed an interesting graphic on a snippet I saw the other day, to do with the number of players within the respective squads who had already experienced title winning pressure (regardless of league). City had 35, we had 5 or 6 and Spurs had none...you do wonder if, in a close run-in, how much extra pressure that exerts on a player.
Also, who are the ones we have? Milner for sure. Alisson and Salah, did they pip Juve? Fabinho ever beat PSG? I know the answer will be obvious, but I cannot think!
