Win tomorrow, which we are more than very capable of doing and just one more slip up from City who play I think Chelsea and Arsenal next and we are in an extremely commanding position, not like last title challenge, hanging on for dear life but no, Commanding, ruling the league with real authority and winning it because we deserve to and are simply the best team. Trying to remain positive and keep that mindset going. I'm going into all City's games thinking they will mess it up and it's working well so far.

I have a feeling Chelsea will give them big problems. I mean if we can find a way to get maximum points from our next two fixtures, that will go an absolute massive way to bring the title to Anfield. City has Arsenal, Everton, away and Chelsea in the space of 7 days off the back of an already busy period meanwhile we play tonight and not again till Monday evening then a week off till Bournemouth at Home. By the following weekend, we could be in a totally commanding position. Keep focused, its on !!!

City looked shell shocked in that game, defence looked terrified and midfield lifeless. Mistake playing KDB instead of Bernardo.

The beauty of it was it was basically their strongest team and they were all well rested. They are apparently the greatest team the PL has ever seen, in great form (100 goals scored and none conceded in last 4 matches or something Sky loved to flash up on screen), they go a goal up in 20 seconds, only one result coming, then BOOM, beat 2-1 by a Championship side. That's gotta hurt.

I expected them to hammer Chelsea and Arsenal at home, but they didn't recover too well from their last wobble, so who knows now. Maybe get a few Reds smuggled in to Goodison to cheer on the boys in blue too.

Had a quick scan of the Bluemoon forum, and aside from the fact they consistently call us "dippers" (how pathetic), they mostly seem to think they lost the title last night.

Lots also saying that trying to win every competition has started to take it's toll on the squad.

I think fatigue has to be viewed as mental as well as physical. Even Pep looked burnt out and knackered last night. Pumping Burton 20 nil in the 1/4s is great. But it’s two extra games to plan for, travel to, motivate the squad for etc etc.

All the while our guys are off chilling on the beach in Dubai.

We have to get right back on it tonight, but, definitely losing to Wolves in the cup was a (could be a) blessing.
